Travelling – The Word itself gives me Goosebumps.
My passion for travelling has made me write this piece of article.
As a kid I was very much fascinated by the word “Travel”- be it going to market, to shopping malls, to park or may be to a neighboring house because I was out of the house for few hours, away from my studies, away from my homework.
As I grew up, started my college and did not get much chance to travel as -the only thing I had in mind was to clear my management test exams ( nevertheless I never cleared the one I wanted to L.)But as we say life goes on and I moved on towards my career path and the aim that I had in life.I was so busy in the daily events of life and the 9-6 job that I could rarely plan anything out of Delhi. Although I enjoyed the parties, outings with my friends it was never that I moved out of Delhi…
Then came the most important phase of my life – My Marriage and it was then I met somebody who actually had the same aspirations like me and then it was all I needed to fulfill my dreams to travel like a wanderer. It has been just 7 months of my marriage and I have been to places which have made me realize Life is so good when you travel and the best part is travelling with your better half “hand in hand”. We have made our motto to travel once in every month to some unexplored place or to a new destination.
Over the time I have realized travelling has certain benefits and positive points. It helps you to refresh your tired soul (“the official soul“).You can put aside your responsibilities, rejuvenate yourself, reduce your stress and be charged up with new energy. You can meet new people, get to know more about the new culture and also try the cuisine of different states. Your adventure can help you to be more patient– you can learn to cope with the new difficulties, resolve the problems and find a solution for your problems yourself because many times things don’t go as we plan.
We all have a certain responsibility which we need to fulfill but life is not only about responsibilities…its also about living the dreams of your life….for me, it was to travel as much as I can.
I am loving it and I am happy that I am doing it.So what are you waiting for?
